Mantle field - irregular fields

Program Mantle calculates doses at given points for irregular fields.

It calculates absolute dose on the base of:

treatment unit data (defined in Alfard)
scatter factors C(S) and Tissue Phantom Ratio (TPR) coefficients

The program Mantle doesn't require such data like SAR or SPR.

Calculation algorithm is based on typical Clarkson method and it assures high accuracy.

Accuracy can be verified by comparison calculated and measured profiles for square fields.

dose calculations at several points for mantle fields

dose calculations for any irregular fields

How to start:

For testing program without digitizer:

1) activate mouse (menu: Util, mouse)
2) enter field shape (left button)
3) save it (menu: Edit, save contour)
4) enter points (right button)
5) edit table of points, determine SSD and depth
6) select unit
7) calculate
8) print it

9) save (menu: File, save)

Test profiles:

Dose calculations at 100 points are required for profile generating.

Program creates appropriate points between point no.2 and point no.3:

erase old points

enter 3 new points

determine SSD and depth for points no. 2 and 3

select Generate points from menu. It creates 100 points placed equally between point no.2 and 3
